Fall Fun
I am sharing this problem:
"In the OMPL editor, Tool catalog doesn't do anything. I know it reads a "Fat Page" from http://static.opml.org/opmlEditor/tools.fttb, but looking at the source there I see a path to Dave's hard drive, which I'm guessing is not correct. Advice?"
How did you get past it? Help? Thx.
ohnr@rigdon.com
If you find the answer please communicate. I will do the same.
Best,
John
I got it working. I re-downloaded and ran the opml editor and let it update. I clicked Misc -> Tool catalog and nothing happened. Then I had to manually open http://127.0.0.1:5337/opmlEditor/catalog in my browser to get to the tool catalog. I was able to install river2 from there. I can read feeds at http://127.0.0.1:5337/river2/index now. Hope that helps.
Sorry to be so slow to respond. I only check hotmail on Saturdays. I am much more accessible at johnr@rigdon.com. Thx.
Best,
John
Finally got back to the OPML project.
I followed your directions and got river2 to install in my OPML program.
However, it won't DO anything.
When I go to the River2 menu and click on the "Am I net-accessible?" question the answer I get is "No you are not net-accessible."
Is this the response you get?
I also can't get any Help (OPML help or Support).
I also subscribed to a couple of active feeds and am getting nothing.
The Outliner tool seems to be the only thing working for me.
Any clues?
Thanks for your previous help. It got me to the next step!
Best,
John
